ActivitiesBuddha image bathing, water blessing, lunch for all staff
On 9 April 2016, our staff held a Songkran celebration to carry on this beautiful Thai tradition. There was a ceremony of bathing the Buddha image with blessed water, and staff poured water to ask for blessings from management, supervisors and senior colleagues. Management and staff all wore floral shirts as a sign of Thai identity.
Before the ceremony, at lunchtime, the company treated every employee to a free meal, and most staff joined the Songkran fun with great enjoyment.
The company has held this Songkran celebration every year for many years, and management and staff alike are proud to help keep the tradition alive.
